During the process of resizing the repurposed PIR board, waste offcuts are generated that do not meet the size requirements for reuse between floor, wall and roof joists. To prevent this going to landfill, it can be utilised as a lose fill insulation to fill cavities and voids such as refrigeration areas in fishing vessels being retrofitted.
